Saying hello and good bye

Hi everybody,

So, I've been talking about this day for a while now ... I'm shutting down Patreon at the end of the week. I'm doing this to be sure that nobody gets charged for another month. As I hope you know, I have moved everything over to Substack.

I'd love for you to come over. It's pretty cool over.

But even if you don't, I have taken the liberty to move over your email so that you will get a copy of all the free posts I am writing. Oh, and it's super easy to opt out if you don't want those.

The vast majority of you have come over to the new JoeBlogs, and I very much appreciate it. The site,. I think, is a pretty big improvement from what's happening over at Patreon, at least from a technical standpoint. One thing for sure: It's easier for me to use so I have been freed up to write a bit more.

We will also be adding some PosCast stuff at Substack, but that probably won't happen until late August, after Mike has finished the final season of The Good Place.

(Oh, in case you missed it, we did have a new PosCast this week -- two hours of nonsense available at the link or on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, etc).

I cannot thank the good people at Patreon enough for all they did to get JoeBlogs relaunched. They were terrific, especially because I think Patreon isn't EXACTLY a fit for the sort of thing we do. They tried awfully hard, though.

In any case, thank you for coming along this crazy journey, and I hope you will keep reading over at the new JoeBlogs. 

Oh, and did I mention that I have written a book ... coming Oct. 22. You'll never guess what it is about.
