The Best Sports Remix Ever

I don’t know DJ Steve Porter, of course. Yeah, I don’t know too many DJs.
But I do know this: That any man who in the same year can give us the previously linked Slap Chop Remix AND this awesome remix of press conference highlights that includes Allen Iverson, the Jim Mora playoff rant, the Denny Green “We are who we thought they were” thing, the Mike Gundy “I’m 40, I’m a man!” lunacy AND Joe Namath trying to kiss Suzy Kolber … well, that man is a genius.
This is like Shakespeare writing King Lear and MacBeth back to back. You know. If Shakespeare was a DJ. And the Slap Chop guy was Lear. And Mike Gundy was Macbeth. And … OK, it’s not a great comparison.
Bircle ce, Mert
Holy sh*t.
I thought that would be kinda lame but I just laughed my arse off.
This is awesome!
Fantastic.
I didn’t laugh as hard as I did to his SlapChop remix, but it was still tremendous. I always need more of the ‘practice’ rant in my daily life.
Steve Porter’s work on the Homegrown EPs is especially top notch. “Flutter Nutter” is what “Wavy Gravy” wishes it was.
This reminds me…I was watching a Slap Chop commercial the other day, and actually listened to the pitch at the end, which goes something like this “be like Vince and slap your problems away”…
Of course I start lmao, because the only thing I can think of is “hooker giving you grief? be like Vince and slap your problems away”…
Dave, I agree, I liked the Slap Chop better. I was having trouble understanding some of the words because the music was too loud.
That was great. he has some good skills in editing
