The Fred McGriff / Tom Emanski endorsement seals it for me. There have been times in the last 10 years when I have seriously considered going to an open tryout because I could do a better job than some of the stiffs they’ve run out there. I don’t think that anymore, which means the Royals are not good but no longer an embarassment.
