Well, with the Royals world falling apart, this did make me laugh. I guess it’s old, but I had not seen it before. Plus it has my favorite play in Royals history … when Terrence Long and Chip Ambres decided to jog toward the dugout while a fly ball landed behind them. It hasn’t gotten that bad for this Royals team. Yet.
Circle me, Bert.
Yes it has gotten that bad.
Is there any video of the Kerry Robinson play? I’ve heard Joe (and others) mention it countless times but I’ve never seen it.
Or a Ken Harvey tribute video for that matter.
Was the infield-fly double play against the Twins in 2004 in there? I remember living in the Twin Cities and being completely flabbergasted watching that unfold on TV.
You’re welcome, Joe.
That reminds me of this, I don’t know if it still works though.

The sneak attack on my Hawks was completely unfair!
Great video, but I know it’s not a real offer. Why? There was no shipping and handling charge, and they didn’t offer a limited-time price cut (Call in the next 10 minutes and we’ll make your first payment for you!) or a buy one and get the next one free after paying for shipping and handling.
I think it has gotten that bad.
This team is awful and there is no comic relief.
The Fred McGriff / Tom Emanski endorsement seals it for me. There have been times in the last 10 years when I have seriously considered going to an open tryout because I could do a better job than some of the stiffs they’ve run out there. I don’t think that anymore, which means the Royals are not good but no longer an embarassment.
Good heavens, is that Eddie Murphy doing a Fred McGriff impersonation?
Don’t forget the “wrong lineup” fiasco under Bell
